









Diagnosed with pars defect at 15, this changed everything

When I was 15 I got diagnosed with pars defect on both sides in my L4 and L5. Been pretty scared to squat or deadlift ever since.
I’ve been doing your other progressions and I just mixed in the quad lumborum work on the back extension for the first time and I can already tell it’s something I’ve never worked before.

Surgery left me stiff for years, now I can touch my toes

You’re awesome brotha!! 🙂 I had a scoliosis surgery when I was young and didn’t know anything about stretching, so we did the surgery and after I have always been stiff from my lower back :/.
But after seeing some of your videos I’ve implemented these workouts and movements and it’s really been helping! I can touch my toes 🙏😊.

Bulging disk, fractured sacrum, and now I’m jumping higher.

Just wanted to reach out and say THANK YOU! I was diagnosed with a chronic hip upslip, a bulging disk, and a fractured sacrum back in 2019. Since then it’s been an uphill battle.
A lot of weed, yoga classes, and muscle relaxers all only gave me a temporary fix. Each year it’s gotten progressively better as I’ve incorporated more mobility into my workouts, but still not where I felt like it should be.
I just joined your BBB program last week and my back hasn’t felt this good in years! I still hoop for fun and I’m jumping higher, moving better, and playing pain free already. I know 5 more weeks from now it’s gonna feel even better and you can definitely expect another message from me then.

I’ve had ankylosing spondylitis for years

Hello. You may never read this but just wanted to say thank you!
I have ankylosing spondylitis, and have been in pain for many years, especially after trying to do any type of impact sport. But after 6 weeks of trying your mobility routines and techniques, the relief has been amazing!
More importantly I was just about to be placed onto steroid injections for the pain but at the moment I don’t feel this is required.
It’s a long road but thank you for your advice.

Emergency surgery took my psoas

Just wanted to reach out and say thank you for this page of yours. The content is very helpful and informative. In 2020 I had an emergency life-saving surgery that left me without a good chunk of my left psoas muscle. That combined with the arthritis developed from being stuck in a hospital bed for two months has affected my mobility in my lower back, hips, and pelvis greatly.
Many of the exercises I’ve seen here combined with things learned in PT have helped me start to finally bounce back. There’s light at the end of the tunnel now. My strength is improving as well as my range of motion.
Thanks for all the tips and keep it up. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s benefited from your work.

L5-S1 pain ruled my mornings

Brother, I have to give huge props to you. Thank you very much for guiding people. I had an L5-S1 microcompression for 9–10 months and God, those are my worst.
I was not able to sit on the floor, not cross sit, and when I woke up, I used to have terrible pain in my lower back. I went to physiotherapy, it gave me temporary relief but then the pain came back.
I found your pages once and ever since, not a single day passes without me waiting for your videos. It has been a huge help. I do Jefferson curls now, although without weights. Slowly, I can feel I am making much, much better progress.

Didn’t Think About My Back During a 10-Hour Flight
